Models are usually tight lipped and silent hangers but if anyone actually asked us we have a lot more input that you'd think. For example we are the ones who see the clothes before anyone, before they are even made most of the time as we are fitted in to them. We can tell you what designer uses great materials of high quality and what designers buy Marks and Spencer black trousers and put it down the runway. This season i was disappointed by London. I thought the shows were weak and the trends stale, however there was some new designers which i thought were wonderfully exciting, here are the pick of the crop and the worst designers to work for.

BAD
Roksanda illincic, beautiful use of orange and well cut clothes but the black and white pieces seemed to replicate Alexander Wang casuals. As a collection it was a hit with a few fails, as a person she should learn to not use and abuse models and assistants. She is one of many designers who will happily put a girl into a outfit or ten at a casting, keep her there for a hour or two and then not even ask for a card. Basically she uses models at castings as 'fit' models without having to pay the fee. I have a dozen or so friends who have done this for her and of course they cannot say anything.

Giles Deacon must been feeling Obama because his collection was like a monday to friday look per day for Michelle. From boring nun dresses to kitchen countertop prints, the entire collection was so ageing i was so bored i had to leave after the first 10 looks.

Osman, the boring shapes, the boring cuts, the boring man. A show which could have casted Gisele and still sleeping heads would be. The entire collection was a pile of colour which was thrown together with a couple of dodgy wigs. AWFUL. The lowlight of it was a pink and electric blue dress Imogen Newton wore which looked like the school doodles. Osman as a person is just a douchbag who thinks that he should only have 6'1 blonde 15 year olds in his show because he wishes he was one himself. Sorry guido, ain't gonna happen.

Christopher Kane, sorry but how can you design a collection based on wiggles? it was like Prada SS11 gone winter gone wrong. I wanted to run and hide. I know the golden boy can do no wrong and Vogue claimed it was a 'hit'. But the only hit i saw was the hit and run disaster f the collection. I hated the colours, the design and the materials. The casting was AWOL and not even Christopher Kane can go from neon body con to plaid sheer dresses to plastic liquid dresses and link any kind of theme.

Topshop Unique was disappointingly dotting. It felt like a clown show with no fun and the fussy design seemed ageing on the puppy faced girls. What a joke! But the casting was brilliant and KCD did a fabulous job.

GOOD

Mary Katrantzou is the star of this season. She took a geisha print dress from Zara and made it the theme of the collection, i am dying over the Balenciaga style structure and the print on print was so strong. She has taken Christopher Kane's crown and shoved it on her head. LOVE.

Hello Eudon Choi, everything from the superb quality clothes to the grungy harnesses made this collection as sleek and staple as Alexander Wang. The quantity was not important, the quality and the beautiful selection of pieces made this collection seem a million times more important than its actual venue. A budding star in the making, this collection was so outstanding the applause was nothing compared to the huge crowd who followed backstage to congratulate the designer after the show. Well done!!

Mark Fast, gorgeous creams and gorgeous knits. Not a big an of the coats but it was a good collection with a stronger more lighter theme.

Fyodar Golan, oh my god!! The cuts, the long lean shapes the amazing Dannijo bone jewellery, the plaited hair, the erin wasson fierce walks. Everything was so sophisticated and the attention to detail was beyond anything Proenza Schouler have done. I could see glimpses of the PS1 boys in these two and the gorgeous leather pieces reminded me of the last Alexander Mcqueen collection which included leather bump pieces over digitally printed dresses. Lush.

Burberry, i liked it when it was tougher but this collection was great. Light, exciting and cheerful. Good use of colours and FANTASTIC shapes, so excited to see how Bailey develops them next season!! On the other hand the girls could have been less predictable, Melissa T and Jourdan Dunn every year?

Marios Schwab, oh my god so beautiful! Like Fyodor Golan but with more leather scalloping and just over the knee lengths. Wonderful and achingly cool.

So tomorrow is the first proper day of show castings in London, pretty much living on mini pretzels and on the tube all day every day.

Alexander Wang is usually one of my favourites to look out for, but like style.com confirmed the last two seasons have been awkward for the boy wonder and i found this season to be mixed. I thought it was very clever of him to combine different jacket/coat styles together i.e tuxedo parka anyone? but it didn't seem flattering to the body and the shoes were more interesting than the actual clothes. I'd almost given up on liking anything when i saw these last evening looks which i do love, they feel very 90s grunge with a AKRIS elegance. Beautiful.

Altuzarra's show was relatively fun, i particularly love the inspiration based on Kate wearing oversized parkas over silk dresses back in her Johnny Depp days. These two looks seem to be the most simple but effective, i love the sheerness! So fun.

My new favourite Jeremy Laing was pretty amazing, 90s grunge with a waiflet gone wild attitude, loved the lengths and the beautiful prints. Crazy stuff.

Jeremy Laing is the lovechild of Alexander Wang and Helmut Lang, a twist of asian love for simplicity and a love of draping. I have never been a big fan, i am ashamed to say, until SS11 and boy am i a fan now. Long, sexy, sheer and a taste of grecian. The collection is so easy to wear and yet it isn't boring, the lack of prints is actually refreshing amidst all the primary fruits we're seeing all over the place and i am obsessed with the length. Long is the new short for sure.

People seem to be discussing the new Rag & Bone campaign a lot, I personally agree that the models are distracting and you end up concentrating on them than their clothes but i do love the concept of them taking the photos themselves. On the other hand Replay SS11's campaign featuring Erin Wasson and Emily Didonato is one of my all time favourites, it is a combination of playful summer bliss meets natural beauties and the clothes look ridiculously cool. Now if only summer would come quickily...

Over the 6 months i have been planing and designing a collection of jewellery which has grown into a bigger project than i thought it would. It began by my frustration of not having a Bliss Lau body chain, i then decided to buy some chains and create my own. I then wanted a armour ring, i searched long and hard and now i look like Iron Man. I then started to think about smaller, more intimate and more feminine pieces. Inspired by Lowluv by Erin Wasson, Pamela Love and Fannie Schiavoni I wanted to create a piece which is simply unique but affordable. Almost every blogger i know loves Pamela Love, but can we afford to spend £800 on a Talon cuff? No.

The first piece is the 'Band of Skulls' bracelet

Currently coming in Antique Gold and Tribal Silver. All pieces will be hand-made in London's Picadilly Circus and take between 1-2 weeks to make. The maxi is back according to all the style bites i'm reading, the 70s are heading back aswell and this time next year we shall all be in Machine-A buying crazy ass new generation clothing made from recycled astronaut crap. I love predicting trends, i think its hilarious its a full time job and also slightly brilliant. I don't think i could ever do seeing as i tend to pick up stuff that no one else is wearing and think its super cool.. but i do love sheer maxi skirts, and i also love chainmail which is currently taking up a full spread in this weeks Grazia. Weird. These are my favourites looks from SS11 as well as events and other things.

I am not a huge fan of this editorial, its very commercial, simple and cute. I prefer crazy backdrops in deep south america and preferably a dishevelled looking Erin Wasson in Rick Owens. However i truly think Fei Fei Sun is one of the most beautiful models around at the moment and i am so proud that she has disappeared into the background as some new faces do. The light make-up compliments her delicate features and her hair is amazing! So refreshing, don't you think asian models nearly always have poker straight black hair? so dull!

I have been a huge fan of Emmanuel Alt's work and her personal style for a long time, i think it was photos of Taylor Tomasi and Emanuel on the way to the shows that made me realize how influential editors have become in the eyes of bloggers. So to find out that she has become the new editor of Vogue Paris is a huge relief as i dreaded the idea of someone else taking the helm. Emmanuel has been a huge part of the magazine's success and i am excited to see how she will develop the magazine in her own perspective and not Carine Roitfelds.

chanel show at saatchi re-creating the St Tropez cruise show, walking down the saatchi gallery bare foot to 'crazy in love' with a bikini and leather shorts is amazing
flying to the middle of nowhere in Holland with a group of friends and spending more time in local pubs and walking the little streets at night than anything else
shooting in Spain with a super cool team and eating at the most surreal restaurants every night
learning that all guys, including models, can be jerk

This is the closest i will go to personal style shots. Currently back in love with my leather chaps - which by the way are ridiculously warm! you'd be surprised...i would love to pair them with a fannie schiavoni chainmail waistcoat, but sadly my money is going towards christmas gifts for the family! and not in Liberty.

Last week i shot with POP Magazine which was super exciting, the shoot was for a 30 page editorial tribute and shot by Mark Lebons a amazing 80s photographer they brought back for the shoot. If there was no Lanvin, i think Reiss would be the original simplicity meets comfort clothing brand. The brand which has suceeded in giving the high street more 'luxe' than bargains, every season the clothes are more refined, and more pricier. I'm not going to lie, i own one top from there but to be honest, the new collection is getting me thinking it might be worthwhile to drop a few hundred in there if only for the feel of cashmere scarfs.
I was walking back from the gym when i literally had a 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' moment and i swear the clothes were speaking to me. The waitcoat is one thing, but the detail? anyone tell me they don't love the little ruffles please don't comment, i am in love.
Even the sweats looks good with it, and i can't believe i just typed that. SWEATS PEOPLE!
If you have some time you should definitely check it out, even though it is pricy i think its a investment brand. The clothes are truly divine and if like me, you can't afford to drop £7000 on a dress from Lanvin then go for the next best thing at Reiss.
