The real SOUVENIR

Possibly my favourite hidden gem is Souvenir a second hand designer boutique which is more designer than second hand. With brands like Vivienne Westwood and Marc Jacobs adorning the racks, the clothes are the ultimate Japanese haunt with a english twist.
My favourite piece has to be a Viktor and Rolf cream cashmere cardigan for £85, now thats a good sale.

Who cares about the clothes, when you have accessorizes

Marc Jacobs may not be my favorite designer, but he certainly knows his accessories. From ruched quilted clutches in pale pink to mosaique style knee length boots.
This season was playful yet sexy, the parisian theme was greeted with mixed reviews but i for one have nothing critical to say-at least of the accessories. I can't wait to see who will be in those boots first, i think they must be the best pair of shoes ever since those legendary gladiator heels alas Balenciaga circa 2008.

I've been a huge fan of Liberty since a little girl, growing up in London i have seen how the department store has transformed itself from a middle class haven to a high fashion establishment with Christopher Kane, Stella McCartney and Mulberry taking place. This is all down to Yasmine Sewell, a amazing buyer who has taken residence at Liberty.

I am loving both these looks, especially the top one. The light shade of blue works so well with a simple blazer or knee black boots, i think i might have to try this look out.

NEW BLOG DISCOVERY

BALMAIN VS PUCCI

I feel uncomfortable reviewing this season at Balmain because i simply can't bear to admit but i'm disappointed. Probably my most anticipated collection this season, alongside Alexander Wang. I feel its not only a lack of financial funding but creative funding to the designs being thrown down the runway this season.

Decarnin seemed to replicate his most successful season with a weak spirit; the clothes seem too trash and too fun. The leather dress, the ruffles...all seemed to show that money cannot buy class when the creativity is abysmal.

Balmain seemed to resemble a night out in Essex rather than £15,000 Haute Couture. However the collection was not a complete disappointment. The simplicity of the plain white t-shirt put together with the studded skirt makes it versatile, something the brand is in desperate need of.

EMILO PUCCI

This was luxurious, sophisticated and sexy. Pucci let go of its traditional prints and gave us a smouldering Pucci girl, the textures shone out bejewelled waists, herve leger tight silk and hemlines skimming. This was a collection with confidence, and by far one of my favourites this season.
